Facing the Aurous Bastion - 2022

Distant waterfalls thunder deep into the earth. Their meditative rumbling backdrops a perfect symphony cast by crystal structures; rustled by moss-laden leaves in gentle gusts of cool morning air. The warm sun playfully peeks from behind its cotton cloudscape, exciting birds and insects.

Just out of sight, something ancient stirs; disturbed by the presence of one who does not belong. Time-stiffened cogs and pistons grind to life as arcane furnaces ignite...

This work took a long while to finish, but I'm super happy to finally see it all together! ^.^
